The Hair Salon Collection 2024: Luxe Distortion

Each year at The Hair Salon we create a collection of creative hair looks – and this year Oliver, Vanessa and Ellie worked together to create The Hair Salon collection 2024: Luxe Distortion.

Here salon owner Oliver talks through the collection, and you can see the results of the shoot below…

“The Hair Salon presents a bold fusion of futuristic aesthetics and grunge influences, characterised by dynamic hair tones and assertive placement. The collection draws heavily on the retro-futuristic vibe of the 1990s film The Fifth Element, blending it with the deconstructed elegance of high fashion grunge.
This modern outlook embraces flaws and imperfections, taking cues from iconic figures such as Stella Tennant, Courtney Love of Hole, and early Gwen Stefani from her No Doubt days.
The inspiration extends to the edgy, raw styles seen in Dazed and Confused editorials, merging with contemporary street culture, film and the rapid evolution driven by social media and technology.”
