Visiting The Hair Salon Brighton
Transport & parking
We recommend Norton Road car park for longer stays. There are many car parking areas on Blatchington Road, but some spaces have time limits of 2 hours and have to be paid for on the parking apps. Please plan ahead so that your hair appointment isn’t disrupted by parking limits.
We are located very close to Hove station and many bus routes.
Please don’t bring bikes into the salon.
Pooches & pets
We are a dog friendly salon, but please let us know if you’re bringing a furry friend. All dogs must be well behaved, kept on a lead and under control (no growling). We can’t be responsible for any escapees!
Please be aware that although we are a child friendly salon, when the salon is busy, space is tight and we can’t promise a spare chair in the salon for your child. Children must be very well behaved and not run around the salon.
We do offer kids cuts, which are charged at the standard price of an adult cut.

Just to remind you that we are card only and we don’t accept cash at The Hair Salon.
We have an online tipping system for all of our freelance stylists. Please scan the QR codes in the salon or head to Easy Tip and tip directly to your stylist.

We work with Handle Recycling for our salon waste, who also provide pouches for customers to fill with all their empty beauty product packaging, which is then made into hairbrushes and combs.
We collect all hair that is cut off which is used to make oil slick booms.
We use locally sourced coffee and tea, which doesn’t have to travel far and helps reduce our carbon footprint.
We offer a selection of complimentary hot and cold drinks to all our guests at The Hair Salon. However while we appreciate some appointments can take a long time, we kindly ask that you don’t order hot meals or takeaways to eat in the salon. Thank you.
